I am a UK-based freelance translator, working from French or Russian into English, to a professional standard. I am a native English speaker, meticulous, proficient in Microsoft Office software and a thorough researcher. I have several years’ experience of working in IT and business leading me to specialise in these fields, with a particular focus on manuals and user guides.
My story
I studied French and Russian at university, but then chose a different direction and spent several years working in IT as an analyst/programmer. After a career break to raise a family, I decided to return to my first love, languages. Gaining an MA in Translation prepared me for an exciting new stage in my professional life, and I have loved building my experience as a translator.
